Compassion as a Compass
What a year 2020 has been!
We have endured trauma, loss, fear, and exhaustion.
As 2021 unfolds, I wish for you healing and steadiness as the light returns.
I have heard astrological predictions stating that the next four years will still be difficult, but 2025 will bring in an energy of ease and we will reap the benefits of our efforts.
Hang in there! Do not be dismayed. There is work to be done and you are an important part of the creation of our future.
Currently, many of our systems, like the patriarchy, are being dismantled. We are caring for our environment more. I just saw this title on the Yahoo! Finance page: "This new plastics company backed by Pepsi is trying to save the planet."
There is bound to be chaos as we sort out how we want to create our new systems. However, it is truly exciting to have a hand in this creation. How can you deeply connect to yourself in order to find your alignment and then create from there? We all have a role to play—what will yours be?
You do not have to be a fiery activist—it is enough to be holding a space for peace and love that others can feel. It could be that you are focused on raising your children or tending to your garden to create beauty. Every bit matters, and it contributes to the whole.
Some of the best advice I ever got from my guides was, "It's not what you do, but it's how you do it." They taught me to look at each activity with love, which filled me with great satisfaction and compassion for each being I interacted with, and that included myself.
In this COVID marathon, I remind myself to ground and drop into my heart when I have difficulty. I am offered a spaciouness that manifests as an expansion of my field. My heart opens and compassion arises, which is like honey to fuel this marathon. I can put one foot in front of another again with equanimity.
In this month's energy healing tune-up, we'll focus on expanding the field. If you would like to take some time out to center and feel your bliss again, please join me. I'll teach a hands-on self-healing technique that gently spirals your field open. We'll use Rose essential oil (divine!) to assist in this expansion. No need to have the Rose oil—you will leave knowing how this oil can be used practically and energetically. The tune-up is on Wednesday, January 13 at noon Pacific via Zoom. The cost is $20.
